Current Concepts in Joint Replacement

We’ll wrap up our fall conference schedule at Current Concepts in Joint Replacement (CCJR) in Orlando.
In addition to visiting AO North America at the meeting, senior orthopedic surgery residents and fellows have another opportunity to engage with AO Recon North America through a course held during CCJR.
AO Recon North America
Complex Total Hip & Knee Arthroplasty for Residents and Fellows
December 9, 2026 | Orlando, Florida
Tuition: Free
This highly interactive course combines short, evidence-based lectures, moderated case discussions, and hands-on anatomical specimen laboratory experience.
Participants will work through the evaluation, planning, and management of complex primary and revision arthroplasty while developing clinical decision-making and surgical skills alongside peers and experienced faculty.
Topics include:
- Systematic clinical, laboratory, and radiographic evaluation
- Preoperative planning and patient optimization
- Complex primary and revision arthroplasty procedures
- Management of early and late complications
- Multidisciplinary, team-based approaches to patient care
- Best practices for optimizing and documenting patient outcomes
The course is designed for senior-level orthopedic surgery residents and fellows; practicing surgeons may also participate.
