Salvatore C. Lettieri, MD, Elected as AO CMF North America Representative on the AO North America Board of Directors

March 9, 2026 – (Wayne, PA) – AO North America is pleased to announce the election of Salvatore C. Lettieri, MD, as the new AO Craniomaxillofacial North America (AO CMF NA) Representative on the AO North America Board of Directors, effective immediately. Dr. Lettieri will serve a four-year term, bringing extensive clinical expertise, educational leadership, and commitment to the AO mission to this important role.

Dr. Lettieri is currently on staff at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ with multiple appointments in Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Neurosurgery. He is also on staff at Valleywise Health Medical Center working as a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Lettieri is a respected leader in craniomaxillofacial surgery, known for his dedication to advancing surgical education and improving patient outcomes. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the advancement of clinical practice in the CMF community. His work reflects a strong commitment to the principles of collaboration, innovation, and excellence that define the AO network.

An engaged member of AO CMF North America, Dr. Lettieri has contributed to numerous educational and professional initiatives supporting surgeon development and knowledge exchange across the region. His experience working with trainees, faculty, and clinical leaders has helped strengthen the AO community and expand opportunities for learning and collaboration.
