We are seeking nominations for the CMF NA Representative on the AO NA Board of Directors. Election Timeline
In November, the CMF NA Board sought candidates to fill two (2) member-at-large positions on the CMF NA Nominating Committee (CMF NA NomCom). In November, the CMF NA Board selected Dr. Paul Manson and Dr. Jason Portnof as two members-at-large. They join Dr. Grant, Dr. Tollefson, and me on the CMF NA NomCom.
On 25 November, the CMF NA NomCom met to review the position description for the CMF NA Representative on the AO NA Board of Directors, the election process, and the associated timeline. We agreed to initiate the process, as outlined in AO NA’s Amended and Restated Election Procedures, through this notice.
The nomination period will span fourteen (14) days beginning 3 December and concluding 17 December 2025 (8 am ET). During this period, AO CMF NA members may nominate themselves or another individual who meets the candidate qualifications by submitting the name and a brief rationale for the nomination to [email protected].
Upon the expiration of the fourteen (14) day nominations period, the CMF NA Nominating Committee will promptly notify each individual of his/her nomination, provide the position description, and candidate evaluation rubric, and request him/her to submit a statement of intent and CV. Each individual shall have seven (7) days to submit the required information. If an individual fails to timely submit the required information, the CMF NA NomCom may, in its discretion, disqualify the individual from further consideration.
The CMF NA Representative on the AO NA Board of Directors will serve a four-year term beginning 1 January 2026 and concluding on December 31, 2030. Below are the position’s responsibilities, requirements, and time commitments.
