OneAO® 2026 — Elevating Performance, Inspiring Confidence | Precision, Resilience, and Results

OneAO® 2026 is AO North America’s flagship multi-specialty conference, uniting surgeons, fellows, and residents across spine, orthopaedic trauma, craniomaxillofacial, hand, foot and ankle, veterinary medicine, sports, and reconstruction. By convening this broad surgical community in one setting, OneAO® fosters cross-specialty dialogue, innovation, and collaboration—advancing solutions in musculoskeletal disorders, fracture management, and surgical performance.

This year’s theme centers on human performance and the factors that drive exceptional outcomes in high-stakes environments. Renowned speakers, researchers, and frontline leaders will explore resilience, grit, decision-making under pressure, and the behaviors that elevate individuals and teams.

The program includes:

  • Nationally and internationally renowned speakers who bring their insights and expertise.
  • Get AHEAD — professional development tracks covering research, teaching and career development.
  • Together in Surgery — Performance, Resilience, and Purpose: Lessons from the OR and From Life.
  • Emerging Investigator Workshop — to promote the development of aspiring new researchers in the field of orthopedic trauma.
  • Meet the AO greats — mentors who have contributed significantly to orthopedics and to AO NA.
  • Educator of the Year Awards Dinner – Join us for a memorable evening as we come together to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our outstanding AO NA faculty. The closing dinner & awards ceremony will honor those who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to excellence.

The event begins Wednesday, April 29, at 2:30 PM, with registration. Join us for an inaugural keynote delivered by Benjamin Hall, the author of Saved: A War Reporter’s Mission to Make It Home. The event continues on Thursday, April 30 with additional speakers, activities, and exciting social events.
